We have two gatherings on a Sunday:
10.00am We start to gather from 10am for coffee before a 10.30am meeting start.
6.00pm We start to gather from 6pm for coffee before a 6.30pm meeting start.
Sunday Mornings at the Forum
Our Sunday morning gathering starts at 10.00am with coffee and the opportunity to catch up with friends or meet someone new before the meeting starts at 10.30am. There's something powerful about the people of God coming together. Our heart is to worship, hear the word of God, tell stories of what God is doing and pray for one another... but in it all, if the Holy Spirit wants to do something different then we want to let Him do it!
Our gatherings are relaxed in style so you will find people standing, sitting, kneeling, lying down, raising hands, dancing and generally expressing the joy they feel. We value an atmosphere where we can freely express feelings to the Lord, so don’t be surprised by the odd outburst of gratitude, a shout or a groan - it’s quite normal, especially when the Holy Spirit is on the move.
We also have dedicated meetings for children and young people, allowing them to encounter God in a context designed specifically for them.
Trained and accountable prayer ministry team members are at hand to pray for you at the end of the meeting every week. Even when there is no invitation to receive prayer, do go forward and ask someone from the Prayer Ministry Team to pray with you (they will be wearing badges!).
Don’t feel you have to rush away at the end – there’s tea and coffee in the Foyer, and, if you’re visiting, go to the welcome desk and fill in a card and have a chat with someone.
The First Sunday morning of the month
All of us at some point were new to church. The First is a Sunday Morning meeting happening once a month on the first Sunday of the month when we invite people to 'give church a try' - maybe for the first time.
We gather from 10am for coffee and croissants or doughnuts in a relaxed environment. Activities for children are available at this time as well. At 10.30am the meeting starts with worship, followed by a message and often multi media. We have separate meetings for children too.
After the meeting at 12midday there is food, activities for children and families and the chance to connect with other people
Sunday Evenings at the Forum
Our Sunday evening gathering starts at 6pm with coffee and the meeting starts at 6.30pm. This meeting has (loud!) live worship, ministry, young people preaching the word of God, and is led by young adults. It’s really the only place to be in Bath on a Sunday evening…
Sundays for Children
We believe that children are not just the Church of tomorrow but also the Church of today. We want each child to know their value in God, His love for them and to recognize and use the gifts and abilities that He has given them.
We offer a vibrant Children's Ministry that operates every week during the Sunday meeting, allowing them to encounter God in a context designed specifically for them. Click here for full details.
|Our VISION is to build a radical relevant church that empowers people to express God’s heart, fulfil their dreams and change the world.|
Our MISSION is to create a culture where people from every nation and generation can have a genuine encounter with the living God.
Our mandate is to see people established in the truth, equipped to fulfil their dreams and empowered to change the world around them.
We want everyone to live in the fullness of everything Jesus paid for on the cross, to express the likeness of heaven here on earth and leave a legacy for the generations to come.
