Serving at Bath City Church
We were created for community! Part of that is being family together - being a blessing to one another and serving one another. Each time we serve one another we are becoming more like Jesus.
We want to encourage everyone who belongs to the family of Bath City Church to have servant hearts - choosing to bless and serve one another, not to simply do a job, not for what we can get but for what we can give.
We have many teams at work on a Sunday morning to ensure the smooth running of the morning and to provide various ministries. There are teams to welcome people, man the doors throughout the morning, provide refreshments. Teams that minister to children, prayer ministry, prophetic encouragement and worship. Teams that provide technical support: sound, cameras, the projection of words and so on.
Most teams operate on a 2 week on 4 week off rota. All teams rely on volunteers. Some areas such as technical may require a little more training. Some areas such as children's and youth ministry have additional forms to comply with our child protection policy.
We also run many ministries during the week that also provide an opportunity to serve. Serving on a team is a great way to connect into the life here and we encourage everyone to find an area where they can give.
