Having an authentic living relationship with God is vital. God is not a distant or angry God but a warm and loving heavenly Father looking to lavish His goodness on his kids. When we come together we expect to meet with Him in a real, tangible and personal way. We express our passion and love by worship and praise (often very enthusiastically), love to talk to Him in prayer (often very loudly), and get a real buzz out of hearing what he has got to say to us today.
In fact we believe that God is in the habit of speaking to his family on a regular basis, we call this prophecy, and so aim to be a prophetic people getting fresh insight and revelation from Him. The Holy Spirit is an exciting and dynamic part of the trinity and we always seek in our corporate get-togethers to give Him lots of space to impact people’s lives. So expect a liberty when He is around!
