Friday 27 July 2018, 9pm - 2am
in the House of Prayer, St Luke's Church Basement, Bath
The Nightwatch is a dedicated time of worship, prayer, and declarations of His promises, led by friends from Bath City Church and others. This will take the form of 5 x 1-hour sets. You are welcome to come and go at any time.
Using Psalm 134 as a template, the Night Watch is a time to “Behold and bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord,” in other words, to search out His beauty as revealed in His Word and to give Him our love and affection through our songs and our prayers.
It is also a time to contend for revival in our city and the nations of the earth, to believe with confidence that prayers lifted up during the night will bring change to situations and hearts while many sleep (Luke 18:7-8). Our cry is, “The night belongs to the Lord!”.
We are gathering for another HOP:Live worship weekend. This begins at 18.30 on Friday 6 July with a bring-and-share fellowship meal followed by worship and prayer from 19:30-21:00. Worship continues on Saturday 7 July from 08:00-12:00. Children and youth are most welcome. Join us every month to corporately encounter the presence of the Holy Spirit and stand together for the heart of God to flood the city. For more info, check out the HoP events page.
You can also view a regularly updated HOP weekly schedule on our website, houseofprayerbath.org, which includes other times HOP meets together for worship, prayer, and intercession.
|Our VISION is to build a radical relevant church that empowers people to express God’s heart, fulfil their dreams and change the world.|
Our MISSION is to create a culture where people from every nation and generation can have a genuine encounter with the living God.
Our mandate is to see people established in the truth, equipped to fulfil their dreams and empowered to change the world around them.
We want everyone to live in the fullness of everything Jesus paid for on the cross, to express the likeness of heaven here on earth and leave a legacy for the generations to come.
