We are praying that the Lord our Provider, Jehovah Jireh, will watch over your situation and that of our church family as we enter the early weeks of the uncertain financial year ahead. Alongside our physical health and well being, we pray for financial health and well being to return quickly.
We want to remain a people obedient to give freely and cheerfully, not reluctantly or under compulsion, each person according to their means at this time, as the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians. We are all finding new ways of doing things when we are apart from one another. So it is with giving. We cannot collect cash, and cannot send in cheques. But it is possible to give via text, BACS or standing order.
Giving by Text
You can give by text with options £3, £4, £5, £10, £15 or £20
Just text LIFECHURCHBATH followed by 3 4 5 10 15 20 to 70085
Giving via BACS or Standing Order
The easiest way to give is via online banking direct to the church bank account:
Bank: Royal Bank of Scotland
Account: Bath Christian Trust
Sort Code: 16 23 21
Account No: 10170880
When setting up a gift or standing order on-line please ensure that you identify your giving through the reference in the following format ‘YOUR SURNAME & INITIAL/NATURE OF GIFT’… for example, ‘SMITHW/TITHE’ or ‘JONESAB/OFFERING'.
If you do not do online banking but would like to give by standing order, please contact Helen Lotwick, who will send you the information and instructions on what to do.
We have started to build up a fund that we will be able to use either in the house, or beyond in the city, or maybe elsewhere where we know of a need.
Following the generosity of one gift we have already been able to send money abroad to Fra in the Philippines, to Pastor Juna in India and Serve Africa, and will be sending funds out shortly to some of our other contacts… but the need is great and very real both abroad and at home.
The best way to give into this fund is via your bank direct to Bath Christian Trust via BACS or Standing Order (details above) with the reference SURNAME & INITIAL/HARDSHIP.
Giving by cheque or cash
During this time please do not send in your giving by post or deliver a cheque / cash to the building because we are unable to process your gifts in this way with the current restrictions in place for staff. Thank you.
