Bethel Sozo

Bethel Sozo is an inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Once your connection with Father, Son and Holy Spirit has been healed you are more able to walk in the destiny to which you have been called.

• Sozo is an inner healing/deliverance ministry
• Sozo is simple, fast, Spirit led and effective
• Sozo finds issues in minutes instead of years
• Sozo helps heal your relationship with God to enable you to fulfil your destiny

The Bethel Sozo Ministry has its headquarters at Bethel Church in Redding California, where it’s jointly led by Dawna DeSilva and Teresa Liebscher.  Bethel Sozo teams can now be found in several countries around the world. Details at  Bethel Sozo was introduced into the UK in 2008, and should not be confused with the Sozo ministry based in Romsey, Hampshire.

Sozo is a Greek work that occurs 110 times in the New Testament. It’s meaning is a combination of being saved, healed and delivered. There are other words for each of these, but sozo is the complete package.

Initally, Bethel Sozo worked on the principle that there are Four Doors with the idea that all sin enters through one of four doors: Fear, Anger, Sexual and the Occult. More tools were added and the Sozo ministry was launched in 1998.

Bethel Sozo doesn’t concentrate on sin or the demonic, it concentrates on getting to the roots of the problems people are living with, the wounds we’ve experienced and the lies that these have lead us into believing. Lies about ourselves and about God, lies that often lead us into behaviours that are destructive. People sometimes come for a Sozo as a “spiritual health check”, and we would certainly recommend an annual Sozo as part of one’s personal development; but more often people come because there’s something holding them back from being all they could be, and it’s time to do something about it.

A Sozo session usually takes about two hours. There is a suggested donation of £40 per session.

Our VISION is to build a radical relevant church that empowers people to express God’s heart, fulfil their dreams and change the world.

Our MISSION is to create a culture where people from every nation and generation can have a genuine encounter with the living God.
Our mandate is to see people established in the truth, equipped to fulfil their dreams and empowered to change the world around them.
We want everyone to live in the fullness of everything Jesus paid for on the cross, to express the likeness of heaven here on earth and leave a legacy for the generations to come.
